Tizanidine should not be taken concomitantly with antibiotics such as: gatifloxacin, levofloxacin , mefloxacin, moxifloxacin, ofloxacin or norfloxacin (Noroxin).
What are the doses of Relizin and how is it used?
Initial dose : 2 mg every 6-8 hours.
Maintenance dose: 2-4 mg every 6-8 hours.
Maximum dose: 16 mg daily.
To stop : Decrease dose gradually by 2-4 mg daily.

Store tizanidine at room temperature away from moisture and heat, and out of the reach of children.
How to use Relizen
Take tizanidine exactly as your doctor has prescribed it.
Do not use tizanidine at times when the body's muscles need it for certain activities.
Do not take the medicine in larger doses, or for longer than recommended by your doctor.
Tizanidine is a short-acting medicine, and its effects will be most noticeable between 1 and 6 hours after you take it.
This medication should only be taken for daily activities that require rapid relief of muscle spasm symptoms, in most cases
