Method Of Administration Of Quinox 750 Mg Tablets
Take exactly as indicated by your doctor.
Take this drug at the same time of day.
Take with or without food.
Take with a full glass of water.
Swallow the tablet whole. Do not split, crush or chew.
Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine.
Do not take this medicine with dairy products, like milk or yogurt, or calcium-rich juices
The dosing may differ depending on the site and severity of your infection.
For adults, the usual dosing range is 250 – 750 mg every 12 hours.
For children, the dosing is usually done according to the child’s body weight in mg/kg/dose. It is usually between 10-20 mg/kg/dose every 12 hours.
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from:
Muscle and joint problems
Nausea
Diarrhea
Vomiting
Rash
Changes in liver function tests
Tendon rupture or swelling

Central nervous system problems (dizziness, seizures…)
Liver toxicity
Irregular heart rhythm known as “QT prolongation”
Worsening of Myasthenia Gravis

Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking Quinox 750 Mg Tablets
Talk to your doctor about all your medical conditions before taking this drug including:
If you have tendon problems.
If you have heart problems, including heart failure or irregular heartbeats.
If you have central nervous system problems such as epilepsy or seizures.
If you have nerve problems.
If you have kidney problems.
If you have liver problems.
If you have rheumatoid arthritis (RA) or another history of joint problems.
If you have the disease Myasthenia Gravis.
If you have diabetes.
If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, or breast-feeding
This medicine may severely affect your tendons, joints, and nervous system.
The risk of getting tendon problems is higher if you are over 60 years of age, are taking corticosteroids, or have had a kidney, heart, or lung transplant.
The risk of having joint problems is higher in children under the age of 18 years.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medications including over-the-counter non-prescription medicines, prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and supplements.
