Novalac 2 is Iron-fortified and as an adapted protein content (Source of Proteins Cow’s milk) , Gluten-free. In agreement with your health care professional, weaning food shall be gradually introduced in addition to Novalac 2 follow-on formula which is specifically designed for infants from 6 months to the age of 1 year when breastfeeding is not applied. In case of protein allergies, prematurity, low birth weight, or in case of immuno-compromised infants, please seek for qualified health professionals help for appropriate advice How to use: Always wash your hands before preparing the bottle Clean and sterilize the feeding bottle, the nipple, and all the used materials, in boiled after for 10 minutes. Boil good pure water for minutes and let cool down to 40C. Pour the needed amount of water into the feeding bottle first. Add the correct quantity of Novalac powder, using the measuring spoon enclosed in the tin. Close the bottle, shake well until the powder is totally dissolved. Let cool to lukewarm temperature 37C – Control the temperature on the inner face of our arm. Feed immediately. Each feeding should be consumed within one hour maximum after its preparation. Caution & Warnings: Do not use after the expiration date indicated under the tin (EXP). After opening by 3 weeks. Do not add sugar. Do not keep the leftovers in the bottle. Throw away the remaining infant formula quantities. Do not prepare the bottle in advance but always just before the feeding. Close the tin after each use with the plastic lid. Store in a dry and cool place, away from light and contamination.
