Product Name Sirdalud 2 Mg, Muscle Relaxant - 30 Tablets Scientific Name Tizanidine 2 Mg Tablets Category Of Sirdalud 2 Mg Tablets Muscle Relaxant Drugs Mechanism Of Action Of Tizanidine Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant drug Tizanidine activates alpha 2 receptors centrally which leads to a reduction in the release of excitatory amino acids and excitatory neurotransmitter release in motor neuron Therapeutic Indications Of Sirdalud 2 Mg Tablets It is used to relax stiff muscles caused by: Painful muscle spasms related to static and functional disorders of the spine Spasticity (muscle stiffness and tightness) caused by neurological problems Method Of Administration Of Sirdalud 2 Mg Tablets Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Doses may change from patient to patient based on your age, your medical condition, and whether or not you are taking other medicines, so always follow your physician's instruction Take a tablet with or without food but make sure that you take it the same way every time. Take a tablet with a full glass of water. Swallow the tablets whole. Take your doses at the same time every day. Recommended usual dose is 2 to 4 mg orally three times daily The daily dose should not exceed 36 mg. Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose. If you have or had a stroke If you have epilepsy If you suffer from any mental illness If you are being treated for high blood pressure If you have Parkinson’s disease If you suffer from any liver, kidney, or lung disease If you have diabetes If you have difficulties in urinating If you have an intolerance to wheat flour If you have a history of drug abuse or dependence Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medications including over-the-counter non-prescription medicines, prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and supplements. Storage Conditions Of Sirdalud 2 Mg Tablets Store below 25°c Don’t refrigerate the container Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Store in the original package to protect from moisture. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
