Category Of Reparil Tablets:

  • Antiedematous Drugs

Mechanism Of Action Of Aescin:

  • Amorphous aescin is a medicine that belongs to a class known as “capillary-stabilizing agents”.
  • It works by acting on the vascular wall by decreasing the extravasation of fluid into the tissue and speeding up the subsidence of edema (swelling due to fluids).
  • It also decreases inflammation and improves circulation.

 

Therapeutic Indications Of Reparil Tablets:

  • Repair is used for the treatment of localized swelling and congestion due to injuries.
  • Repair reduces edema (swelling due to fluids).

 

Method Of Administration Of Reparil Tablets:

  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
  • Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • Doses may change from patient to patient based on your age, your medical condition, and whether or not you are taking other medicines.
  • Adults older than 14 years of age: Recommended initial dose is 2 tablets orally three times daily. The recommended dose in milder cases or as a maintenance dose is 1 tablet orally three times daily.
  • Children between 7 and 14 years of age: The recommended dose is 1 tablet orally 2 or 3 times daily.
  • Children less than 7 years of age: Use is not recommended in children less than 7 years of age.
  • Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
  • If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
  • If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
  • Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

 

Undesirable Side Effects Of Reparil Tablets:

  • Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from:
  1. Abdominal pain
  2. Allergy

 

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Precautions While Taking Reparil Tablets:

  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
  • Your doctor will discuss the possible risks and benefits of using this medicine during pregnancy and breast-feeding

 

Advice To Reduce Joint Pain:

  • Keep your joints moving. Do daily, gentle stretches that move your joints through their full range of motion.
  • Reduce any extra weight. As weight may put pressure on your joints. Rondiet is a safe supplement for healthy weight loss

Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking Reparil Tablets:

  • Before you use this medicine talk to your doctor or pharmacist:
  1. If you suffer from bronchial asthma
  2. If you have or have had a peptic ulcer
  3. If you suffer from hypertension or any heart diseases
  4. If you suffer from Hepatic disease
  5. If you suffer from Renal impairment
  6. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medications including over-the-counter non-prescription medicines, prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and supplements.

 

Storage Conditions Of Reparil Tablets:

  • Store below 25°c
  • Don’t refrigerate the container
  • Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
  • Store in the original package to protect it from moisture.
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
