Product Description:

Tamsulosin belongs to a class of drugs known as alpha blockers. It works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder, allowing urine to flow smoothly. 
Tamsulosin capsules are used in males to treat symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH), such as difficulty urinating (hesitation, dribbling, weak stream, and incomplete bladder emptying), painful urination, and urine frequency and urgency.
Tamsulosin has not been approved for usage in women or children. 

Uses:

• Used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH.
• Used to painful urination.
• Used to urinary frequency and urgency.

Precautions and warnings:

You should not use this medication if you are allergic to tamsulosin.

Side effects:

• Symptoms may include abnormal ejaculation,
• Reduced semen, dizziness, tiredness, weakness.
• Runny nose, sore throat, and cough.
• Symptoms may include back discomfort.
• Chest pain, headache, nausea, diarrhea.
• Teeth troubles, blurred vision, insomnia, and diminished interest in sex.

How to Use:

In patients who do not respond to 0.4 mg once a day within 2 to 4 weeks, the dose may be increased to 0.8 mg once a day. 
This medication should be taken around one-half hour after the same meal every day.
