What Betnovate Ointment is used for:

• Betamethasone Cream is a topical therapy used to address a variety of skin issues.
• It is used to treat skin issues such as eczema by reducing inflammation, itching, and redness.

• It is offered in two forms: an ointment and a cream for application to the skin.  

How to use Betnovate Ointment:

• Wash and dry your hands, then squeeze out the appropriate amount.
• Apply a tiny application once or twice a day and gently rub it in, barely enough to cover the affected area.
• If you are not treating your hands, wash them after usage.
• Allow BETNOVATE to soak after each application before applying an emollient.

Ingredients of Betnovate Ointment:

• Betamethasone valerate.

Do not use Betnovate Ointment:

• If you are allergic to Betamethasone valerate, any other corticosteroid, or any of the chemicals contained in this product.
• If the package is damaged or shows signs of tampering.
• If the expiration date on the medication packaging has past.
• If you have any additional skin issues (for example, fungal or bacterial skin infections, anal or vaginal discomfort, cold sores, shingles, chickenpox, skin TB, skin ulcers, acne, or skin inflammation around the mouth).
• The use of this medication for other skin conditions may exacerbate your condition. If you are unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. 
• If you have weak blood circulation in the skin (to avoid ulcers).
• In children under the age of one year, unless advised by a doctor.

Warnings & Precautions of Betnovate:

• Before taking Betnovate , tell your dermatologist or healthcare practitioner if you are allergic to any other medications, foods, or preservatives.
• It is not recommended to use the cream when pregnant.
• Avoid using it on children under one year.

• Avoid skin dryness by utilizing possible moisturizer.
• Use an air conditioner and/or a humidifier since when your skin is hot and/or dry, itching tends to worsen.

• UV rays can worsen your disease, so it is best to apply suitable sunscreen. 

Other medicines and Betnovate Ointment:

• Before using Betnovate Ointment, inform your doctor or pharmacist about all drugs and supplements you are currently taking.

• It is advisable to allow at least 30 minutes between topical treatments.

How to store Betnovate Ointment:

• Do not keep above 25°C.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date shown on the carton label or blister strip.
• Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
