Betadine dry powder spray 55gm, 10% pvpi antiseptic solution for treating skin infections. For the prevention of infections in wounds, burns, cuts, scratches, and abrasions having germicidal properties.
Therapeutic Indications of Betadine Spray:
- Betadine Antiseptic Liquid Spray is used to rapidly eliminate the bacteria that cause wound and skin infections.
- Antiseptic treatment for minor wounds, abrasions, and burns, as well as mild skin infections.
Do not use Betadine Spray:
- This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to Povidone Iodine or any of its ingredients,
- If you have a thyroid problem (e.g., nodular colloid goiter, endemic goiter, or Hashimoto's thyroiditis)
- If you are taking lithium therapy for depression, as this can interact with Povidone Iodine.
Method of Administration of Betadine Spray:
- Always take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist.
- If you are unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
- The recommended dose is 3-4 times day, applied topically in the afflicted region.
- Doses may be adjusted in unusual circumstances, so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's directions.
