Uses:

Hydroquinone is a topical brightening chemical used to treat skin problems linked with hyperpigmentation, such as:

  • melasma.
  • post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
  • sunspots.
  • freckles.
  • acne scars.
  • and age spots.

Precautions and warnings:

  • Before taking this medication, discuss all of your medical problems with your doctor.
  • If you are allergic to sulfites, tell your doctor.
  • When receiving Hydroquinone treatment, it is critical to wear sunscreen.

Side effects:

  • Allergic skin reactions.
  • Redness.
  • Stinging on the site of application.
  • Dryness.

Ingredients:

  • Hydroquinone.

Concentration:

  • 4% Hydroquinone.

Pharmacological classification:

  • Depigmenting Agents.

Volume:

  • 50 ml.

How to Use:

  • Apply only enough to cover the affected area.
  • Rub in softly but thoroughly.
  • Do not use near the eyes, lips, or other places with sensitive skin.
  • If inadvertent contact occurs, thoroughly wash the affected area.

Storage Conditions:

  • It should be stored in light-resistant, tightly sealed containers in a cool, dark location away from heat and oxidizing chemicals.
  • It should be labelled as corrosive.
