It is used to treat an illness called schizophrenia.
Schizophrenia can make you feel, see or hear things that do not exist, have strange and frightening thoughts, change how you act, and make you feel alone.
Method Of Administration Of ARPENIA 15 Mg Tablets
Take this medicine by mouth.
Swallow the tablets whole with a drink of water. Do not chew your tablets.
Take it before a meal.
If you feel the effect of your medicine is too weak or too strong, do not change the dose yourself, but ask your doctor.
The amount of this medicine you take will depend on your illness. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.
The recommended dose for adults is 15 mg once a day. However, your doctor may prescribe a lower or higher dose to a maximum of 30 mg once a day.
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
Undesirable Side Effects Of ARPENIA 15 Mg Tablets
Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from:
Difficulty in sleeping
Feeling restless and unable to keep still, difficulty sitting still
Uncontrollable twitching, jerking or writhing movements, restless leg
Shaking and blurred vision
Decreased number of or difficulty making bowel movements
More saliva in the mouth than normal
Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking ARPENIA 15 Mg Tablets
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking your medicine if you have:
High blood sugar or family history of diabetes
Fits (seizures) since your doctor may want to monitor you more closely
Cardiovascular diseases (diseases of the heart and circulation), family history of cardiovascular disease, stroke or abnormal blood pressure
Blood clots, or family history of blood clots, as antipsychotics have been associated with the formation of blood clots
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medications including over-the-counter non-prescription medicines, prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and supplements.

Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
