How to Use

For Children:
The dosage is determined by the doctor based on the child’s age or body weight:

1 month to 1 year: 0.25 mg/kg
1 to 5 years: 2.5–5 mg or 0.20 mg/kg
6 to 12 years: 5–10 mg or 0.20 mg/kg
12 to 18 years: 10–20 mg or 0.20 mg/kg
If necessary, the doctor may dilute chlorpheniramine with 0.9% sodium chloride for easier measurement and administration. For intravenous injections, the medication should be administered slowly over one minute to minimize the risk of low blood pressure (hypotension) or nervous system stimulation (giddiness).
