Therapeutic Indications Of Xibax 90 Mg Tablets Etoricoxib helps to reduce the pain and swelling (inflammation) in the joints and muscles of people 16 years of age and older with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and gout. Etoricoxib is also used for the short-term treatment of moderate pain after dental surgery in people 16 years of age and older. Method Of Administration Of Xibax 90 Mg Tablets Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Doses may change from patient to patient based on your age, your medical condition, and whether or not you are taking other medicines. Continue taking your medicine for as long as your doctor tells you. There are different strengths available for this medicinal product and depending on your disease your doctor will prescribe the tablet strength that is appropriate for you. The recommended dose is one capsule/tablet or as directed by the physician Etoricoxib is for adults only; it is not for use in children. Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose. Undesirable Side Effects Of Xibax 90 Mg Tablets Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from: High blood pressure Chest pain Dizziness Vomiting Stomach ache Headache Muscle stiffness Constipation Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking Xibax 90 Mg Tablets Before you use this medicine talk to your doctor or pharmacist if: You have a history of stomach bleeding or ulcers. You are dehydrated, for example by a prolonged bout of vomiting or diarrhea. You have swelling due to fluid retention. You have a history of heart failure or any other form of heart disease. You have a history of high blood pressure. You have a history of liver or kidney disease. You are being treated for an infection. This medicine can mask or hide a fever, which is a sign of infection. You have diabetes, high cholesterol, or are a smoker. These can increase your risk of heart disease. You are a woman trying to become pregnant. You are over 65 years of age. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medications including over-the-counter non-prescription medicines, prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and supplements. Storage Conditions Of Xibax 90 Mg Tablets Store below 25°c Don’t refrigerate the container Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Store in the original package to protect from moisture. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
