What is Stendra and how is it used? Stendra is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of Erectile Dysfunction. Stendra may be used alone or with other medications. Stendra belongs to a class of drugs called Phosphodiesterase-5 Enzyme Inhibitors. It is not known if Stendra is safe and effective in children. What are the possible side effects of Stendra? Stendra may cause serious side effects including: • hives, • difficulty breathing, • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, • sudden vision loss, • dizziness, • nausea, • pain during erection, • numbness or tingling in your chest, arms, neck or jaw, • vision changes, • ringing in your ears, • sudden hearing loss, • pain, swelling, warmth, or redness in one or both legs, Tell the doctor if you have any side effect that bothers you or that does not go away. These are not all the possible side effects of Stendra. For more information, ask your doctor or pharmacist. INDICATIONS STENDRA is a phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitor indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION Erectile Dysfunction The recommended starting dose is 100 mg. STENDRA should be taken orally as needed as early as approximately 15 minutes before sexual activity. Based on individual efficacy and tolerability, the dose may be increased to 200 mg taken as early as approximately 15 minutes before sexual activity, or decreased to 50 mg taken approximately 30 minutes before sexual activity. The lowest dose that provides benefit should be used. How should I store STENDRA? • Store STENDRA at 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C). • Keep STENDRA out of the light.
