Therapeutic Indications Of TAVFLOX 500 Mg Tablets It is indicated in the treatment of adult patients with bacterial infections in the following body parts: Lungs and bronchi Urinary tract (bladder and kidneys) Sinuses Prostate Skin and soft tissues Method Of Administration Of TAVFLOX 500 Mg Tablets Take a tablet with or without food. Take a tablet with a full glass of water. Take at the same time every day. Do not take more or less than prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking your medication prior to the end of prescribed duration even if you start feeling better. Drink a lot of fluids while taking this medication. Your doctor will decide the correct dose for you. The dose will depend on the severity and type of infection Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose. Make sure to tell your doctor if you are 60 years of age or older, are taking steroids, or have kidney, heart or lung transplants. This medication may cause blood problems such as thrombocytopenia This medication may cause tingling and numbness in your peripheries. If this happens, make sure to tell your doctor in order to prevent irreversible damage to the nerves. Make sure to tell your doctor about other medications that you are taking to prevent QT prolongation (a heart problem that causes a type of irregular rhythm) from happening. Make sure to tell your doctor if you have low potassium levels in your blood or other heart problems. This medication may cause hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia if you are diabetic.
