Product Description: Similac Pro-S Gold 1 is a special formula based on partially hydrolyzed cow's milk protein for infants at risk of developing symptoms of cow's milk protein allergy, as studies show that one in ten babies is at risk of developing symptoms of cow's milk protein allergy, such as eczema. In addition to partially hydrolyzed cow's milk protein, Similac Pro-S Gold contains 2FL HMO that boosts the immune system & nucleotides to help the immune system mature. How to use: Use and feed as directed by your physician. Proper hygiene, handling, and storage are important when preparing infant formula. Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm. Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby’s doctor. Preparation: Thoroughly wash feeding container and all utensils, then boil for 5 minutes. Set aside on clean surface. In a separate pan, heat water to a rolling boil for 5 minutes and allow it to cool. Pour the correct amount of warm, previously boiled water into the sterilized feeding container. Fill enclosed scoop by pressing against the tin, then scrape level with the straight edge of a knife. Add one level scoop of powder to each 60 mL of water. Mix until completely dissolved. Test temperature and feed. Once the feeding begins, discard unused formula within 1 hour. Additional feedings may be stored in refrigerator (2 - 4 °C) for 24 hours. Caution & Warnings: Storage: Store unopened tin under normal room conditions (not to exceed 25 °C). Store opened tin with cover on, in a cool dry place (not in refrigerator) and use within 3 weeks.
