It is used to treat an illness called schizophrenia.
Schizophrenia can make you feel, see or hear things that do not exist, have strange and frightening thoughts, change how you act, and make you feel alone.
Method Of Administration Of Silomes 100 Mg 30 Tablets
Take this medicine by mouth.
Swallow the tablets whole with a drink of water. Do not chew your tablets.
Take it before a meal.
If you feel the effect of your medicine is too weak or too strong, do not change the dose yourself, but ask your doctor.
The amount of Amisulpride you take will depend on your illness. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.
The usual dose is between 50 mg and 800 mg each day.
Your doctor may start you on a lower dose if necessary.
If necessary, your doctor can prescribe up to 1200 mg each day.
Doses up to 300 mg each day can be taken as a single dose. Take the dose at the same time each day.
Doses above 300 mg should be taken half in the morning and a half in the evening.
Amisulpride should not be given to children under 18 years of age.
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from:
Trembling, muscle stiffness or spasm, slow movement, producing more saliva than usual, or feeling restless.
Difficulty sleeping (insomnia) or feeling anxious or agitated
Feeling drowsy or sleepy
Constipation, feeling or being sick, dry mouth
Unusual production of breast milk in women and men, breast pain
Menstrual period stops
Breast enlargement in men
Difficulty in getting or maintaining an erection, or in ejaculating
Feeling dizzy (which can be due to low blood pressure)
Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking Silomes 100 Mg 30 Tablets
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking your medicine if:
You have kidney problems.
You have Parkinson’s disease.
You have ever had epileptic seizures
You have an unusual heart rate (rhythm) or you have a slow heartbeat (less than 55 beats per minute).
You have heart disease or a family history of heart problems.
Your doctor has told you that you might have a stroke.
If you or someone else in your family has a history of blood clots, medicines like these have
been associated with the formation of blood clots.
You are diabetic or have been told you have an increased risk of having diabetes.
You have been told you have a low amount of potassium in your blood.
You are elderly.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medications including over-the-counter non-prescription medicines, prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and supplements.
