Prevention of Rh(D) immunization in Rh(D)-negative women
Treatment of Rh(D)-negative persons after incompatible transfusions of Rh(D) positive blood or other products containing red blood cells
Method Of Administration Of Rhophylac 300 Mcg Syringe
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
Undesirable Side Effects Of Rhophylac 300 Mcg Syringe
Check with your doctor or nurse immediately if any of the following side effects occur while taking rho (d) immune globulin:
Rare
Bloody urine
decreased frequency of urination or amount of urine
fever
increased blood pressure
increased thirst
loss of appetite
lower back pain
nausea or vomiting
pale skin
swelling of the face, fingers, or lower legs
troubled breathing
unusual bleeding or bruising
unusual tiredness or weakness
weight gain
Side effects not requiring immediate medical attention
Some side effects of rho (d) immune globulin may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects.

Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking Rhophylac 300 Mcg Syringe
In the case of postpartum use, anti-D immunoglobulin is intended for maternal administration. It should not be given to the newborn infant.
The product is not intended for use in Rh(D)positive individuals. Patients should be observed for at least 20 minutes after administration.
If symptoms of allergic or anaphylactic type reactions occur, immediate discontinuation of the administration is required.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
