Therapeutic Indications Of Ravildo 3.125 Mg Tablets To treat patients with high blood pressure (hypertension): High blood pressure is a common condition in which the long-term force of the blood against your artery walls is high enough that it may eventually cause health problems, such as heart disease. To treat patients who had a heart attack that worsened how well the heart pumps Method Of Administration Of Ravildo 3.125 Mg Tablets Take with food. Individualize dosages and monitor during up-titration. Left ventricular dysfunction following myocardial infarction: Start at 6.25 mg twice daily and increase to 12.5 mg then 25 mg twice daily after intervals of 3 to 10 days. A lower starting dose or slower titration may be used. Hypertension: Start at 6.25 mg twice daily and increase if needed for blood pressure control to 12.5 mg then 25 mg twice daily over intervals of 1 to 2 weeks. Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose. Undesirable Side Effects Of Ravildo 3.125 Mg Tablets Dizziness. Fatigue Hypotension Diarrhea Hyperglycemia Asthenia Bradycardia weight increase Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking Ravildo 3.125 Mg Tablets Acute exacerbation of coronary artery disease upon cessation of therapy: Do not abruptly discontinue. Bradycardia, hypotension, worsening heart failure/fluid retention may occur. Reduce the dose as needed. Non-allergic bronchospasm (e.g., chronic bronchitis and emphysema): Avoid ß-blockers. However, if deemed necessary, use with caution and at the lowest effective dose. Diabetes: Monitor glucose as ß-blockers may mask symptoms of hypoglycemia or worsen hyperglycemia You must consult your doctor if you are planning to combine these tablets with the medicines listed below: CYP P450 2D6 enzyme inhibitors may increase and rifampin may decrease carvedilol levels Hypotensive agents (e.g., reserpine, MAO inhibitors, clonidine) may increase the risk of hypotension and/or severe bradycardia. Cyclosporine or digoxin levels may increase Verapamil- or diltiazem-type calcium channel blockers may affect ECG and/or blood pressure. Insulin and oral hypoglycemics action may be enhanced Storage Conditions Of Ravildo 3.125 Mg Tablets Store below 25°c Don’t refrigerate Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Store in the original package to protect from moisture. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
