Product Description:

Ranexa 500 Mg is a medication used to treat chest pain (angina).

It works by helping your heart work more efficiently.

Ranexa is typically used in combination with other medications when those medications alone are not effective.

How To Use:

 Dosage:

The usual starting dose is 375 mg twice daily.

Your doctor may increase your dose to 500 mg or 750 mg twice daily, depending on your response to the medication.

 Timing:

Take Ranexa exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken twice daily, with or without food.

 Duration of Treatment:

Continue taking Ranexa for as long as your doctor recommends. Do not stop taking Ranexa suddenly without talking to your doctor first.

Warnings And Precautions:

Heart Problems: Tell your doctor if you have any heart problems, including heart failure, slow heart rate, or a history of heart attack.

Kidney Problems: Tell your doctor if you have any kidney problems.

Liver Problems: Tell your doctor if you have any liver problems.

Electrolyte Imbalances: Ranexa can cause electrolyte imbalances, such as low potassium or magnesium levels. Your doctor may need to monitor your blood levels of these minerals.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Ranexa is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Ingredients:

The active ingredient in Ranexa is ranolazine. Each tablet contains 500 mg of ranolazine.
