• Protogyn 500mg contains tinidazole that used to treat bacterial infections, including vaginal or intestinal infections. Additionally, several sexually transmitted illnesses are treated with it.

Common drug interaction of Tinidazole:

Mechanism of action of protogyn:

• With antibacterial properties identical to metronidazole, tinidazole is a 5-nitroimidazole derivative that exhibits activity against obligatory anaerobic bacteria as well as protozoa, including Trichomonas vaginalis, Entamoeba histolytica, and Giardia lamblia.

• It breaks down DNA strands or prevents microorganisms from synthesizing new DNA.

• Stored at room temperature below 25°C. 
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date shown on the carton label or blister strip.
