Prometin Syrup 100 ml

What is Prometin Syrup 100ml:

• Prometin syrup contains the medication promethazine hydrochloride. This is a member of the phenothiazine drug class. It works by inhibiting a natural chemical (histamine) that your body produces during an allergic reaction.

Therapeutic uses of Prometin:

• Sneezing.
• Nose itching.
• Eye irritation.
• Nausea.
• Vomiting.
• Motion sickness.
• Allergic disorders.

Possible side effects of Promethazine:

• Central nervous system depression.
• Dryness of mouth.
• Blurring of vision.
• Retention of urine.
• Constipation.
• Tachycardia.
• Headache.
• Hypotension.
• Muscle spasm.
• Restlessness.
• Abnormal liver function.

How to take Promethazine:

• May be taken before or after meals.
• Taken as directed by the doctor.
• Usual dose half teaspoonful, 1.25 to 2.5 ml every 4 to 6 hours.
•  Not to exceed 10 ml in 24 hours.
• Do not drink alcohol while you are taking Prometin syrup.

Promethazine and pregnancy:

• Not remmonded to take during pregnancy.

• 100ml.

How to store Prometin:

• Stored at room temperature below 25°C. 
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date shown on the carton label or blister strip.
