What is PRADAXA 75mg:

PRADAXA 75mg contains dabigatran is used to treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) in individuals who have taken blood thinners via injection for 5 to 10 days.

• Prevent heart attacks and strokes.
• Secondary prevention of atherothrombotic events.

Mode of Action of Pradaxa 75mg:

• Dabigatran reversibly binds to the active site on the thrombin molecule, preventing thrombin-mediated activation of coagulation factors.
• It may have less of an antagonistic effect on thrombin-mediated platelet aggregation
