Product Description:

Moxonidine is a new generation centrally acting antihypertensive drug approved for the treatment of mild to moderate essential hypertension. It is suggested to be effective in cases where other agents such as thiazides, beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, and calcium channel blockers are not appropriate or irresponsive.

Uses:

• Mild to moderate essential or primary hypertension.
• Effective as most first-line antihypertensives when used as monotherapy.

Precautions and warnings:

• If you're pregnant or nursing. 
• If you have a cardiac condition, including a slow heartbeat or heart failure.
• If you have angina.
• If you have kidney problems. 
• If you are taking any other medication. This includes any over-the-counter medications you're taking, as well as herbal and alternative treatments. 
• If you have ever experienced an allergic reaction to a medication. 

Side effects:

• Dry mouth.
• Feeling sleepy or dizzy.
• Headache and backache.
• Feeling ill nausea, stomach upset, indigestion, and diarrhea. 
• Sleep problems, mental difficulties, flushing or fatigue, and an itching rash.

Moxonidine.

How to Use:

0.4mg once daily.
