Product Description:

Prasugrel is prescribed to persons who have undergone balloon angioplasty to unblock blocked arteries following a heart attack or significant chest discomfort. Prasugrel may help reduce your chances of experiencing another heart attack or stroke.

Uses:

• Used in balloon angioplasty to unblock blocked arteries after a heart attack. 
• Used to reduce your chances of having another heart attack or stroke.

Precautions and warnings:

• Prasugrel can induce severe and perhaps fatal bleeding. 
• Prasugrel should not be used in patients who have active pathological bleeding or who have had a transient ischemic attack or stroke.

Side effects:

• Blurred vision.
• Dizziness.
• Headache.
• Nervousness.
• Pounding in the ears.
• Slow or fast heartbeat
