Product Description:

Optilone is a corticosteroid with good anti-inflammatory properties and no noticeable effect on intraocular pressure. Optilone has at least 40 times the anti-inflammatory effect of hydrocortisone.

Uses:

• Acute and chronic non-infectious conjunctivitis and keratitis due to allergies. 
• Noninfectious inflammation of the eye's anterior chamber (includes uveitis, episcleritis, and scleritis).
• post-operative irritative disorders following strabismus, cataract, and glaucoma surgery. 

Precautions and warnings:

If you are hypersensitive to or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Side effects:

• Glaucoma can cause optic nerve damage.
• Visual acuity or field problems.
• Cataract formation.
• Secondary ocular infection due to host immunity suppression.

Ingredients:

Fluorometholone

Concentration:

Fluorometholone 1%.

Pharmacological classification:

Corticosteroid.

Volume of bottle:

5ml.

How to Use:

1 drop instilled into the conjunctival sac 2-4 times daily.

Storage Conditions:

• Stored at room temperature below 25°C.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date shown on the carton label or blister strip.
• Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
• Not to be used for more than 28 days after opening the container, unless otherwise advised by your pharmacist.
