Product Description:
Olumiant (baricitinib) tablets are used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, severe alopecia areata, and COVID-19 in some people. These disorders could be caused by an overactive immune system, resulting in inflammation. Olumiant works by inhibiting a specific protein (Janus kinase) that produces inflammation, hence alleviating the symptoms of certain illnesses. Olumiant is classed as a Janus Kinase (JAK) inhibitor.

- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Alopecia Areata.
- Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Precautions and warnings:
Talk to your doctor if you are:
- Weak immune system.
- Diabetes.
- Chronic lung disease.
- An infection such as hepatitis.
- Tuberculosis.
- Shingles.
- HIV.
- Pregnant.
- Breast feeding.
Side effects:
- Sudden shortness of breath.
- Chest pain or pressure that may spread to your jaw, shoulder, arms, or back.
- Nausea, vomiting, cold sweat.
- A light-headed feeling, like you might pass out.
- Weakness on one side of your body.
- Slurred speech, drooping on one side of your mouth; or
- Pain, swelling, or redness in an arm or a leg.
Ingredients:
- Active ingredient:Baricitinib.
- Inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, ferric oxide, lecithin (soya), polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, talc, titanium dioxide.

How to Use:
Usual dose for:
- Rheumatoid Arthritis: 2 mg tablet once a day.
- Alopecia Areata:2mg once daily then increase to 4mg.
- COVID-19:4mg once daily

- Keep away from children.
- Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
