Product Description:

Olmesartan medoxomil and hydrochlorothiazide tablets include olmesartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker, and hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic used to treat hypertension, to reduce blood pressure. Lowering your blood pressure lowers the risk of cardiovascular events, including strokes and myocardial infarctions, both fatal and nonfatal.

Uses:

Indicated for treatment of hypertension to lower blood pressure.

Precautions and warnings:

Fetal Warnings:

  • When pregnancy is detected, discontinue olmesartan medoxomil and hydrochlorothiazide
  • tablets as soon as possible.
    Drugs that act directly on the renin-angiotensin system can cause injury and death to the developing fetus.
  • Hypersensitivity to any component of olmesartan medoxomil, or hydrochlorothiazide tablets.
  • Anuria.
  • When giving hydrochlorothiazide and Olmesartan medoxomil pills to diabetic individuals, never combine aliskiren with these medications.

Side effects:

 

  • Hypotension in patients with low volume or low salt.
  • Reduced Renal Efficiency.
  • Hypersensitivity Reactions.
  • Metabolic and Electrolyte Imbalances
  • Secondary Angle-Closure Glaucoma with Acute Myopia.
  • Erythematosus-like Lupus Systemic.
  • Enteropathy Similar to Sprue.
Ingredients:
 
Olmesartan medoxomil and hydrochlorothiazide.
 

Concentration:
 
40mg Olmesartan medoxomil and 12.5mg hydrochlorothiazide.
 
 

Pharmacological classification:
 
Cardiovascular drugs.
 
 

Number of Tablets:
 
30 tablets.
 

How to Use:
 
  • Swallow the tablet with a cup of water.
  • Dont exceed your dosage limit.
Storage Conditions:

  • stored at room temperature between 20 to 25°C.
  • Keep away from children.
  • Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
