Product Description: 
Nplate is a thrombopoietin receptor agonist used to treat thrombocytopenia in adult patients who suffer from immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), Pediatric patients 1 year old and older who have had an inefficient response to corticosteroids, immunoglobulins, or splenectomy.Nplate is indicated to increase survival in adults and in pediatric patients who are exposed to high doses of radiation therapy. 
 
Uses: 

• Immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) patients who are refractory to other treatments. 
• Acutely exposed to myelosuppressive doses of radiation. 
   

Precautions and warnings: 

• Risk of Progression of Myelodysplastic Syndromes to Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. 
• Thrombotic/Thromboembolic Complications. 
• Loss of Response to Nplate.
   

Side effects: 

• May suffer from arthralgia. 
• May suffer from dizziness. 
• May suffer from insomnia. 
• May suffer from myalgia. 
• May suffer from abdominal pain. 
• May suffer from shoulder pain. 
• May suffer from dyspepsia. 
• May suffer from paresthesia. 
• May suffer from contusion especially in pediatric. 
• May suffer from upper respiratory tract infection especially in pediatric. 
• May suffer from oropharyngeal pain especially in pediatric.
