Product Description:
Neocate Syneo is a specializedinfant formula milk which is is a hypoallergenic, nutritionally complete, elemental (amino acid based) formula consisting of a mixture of essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrate, fat, Prebiotics and probiotics for the management of food induced allergy including Cows MilkProtein Allergy, multiple food protein allergies which manifest with various clinical manifestations such as atopic dermatitis, refractory or eosinophilicesophagitis; and other gastrointestinal conditions where malabsorption is evident and polymeric or peptide feeds are not tolerated.
These include: transition from parenteral to enteral nutrition ,Crohn’s disease ,Intractable diarrheas', severe enteropathy and microvillous atrophy, mucositis arising from chemotherapy where the gut is impaired and severe rejection post intestinal transplant
How to use:
Wash hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area. sterile bottles and teats
Boil fresh water for 5 minutes or until an electric kettle switches off. Pour the required amount of water into the sterilized bottle, cover the bottle with cap and cool down to room temperature.
Fill the Scoop provided with powder and level off with a clean dry knife. Do not press the powder into scoop. Use only the scoop provided
Add the prescribed numbers of scoops of powder to the water. Replace the cap on the bottle and shake until the powder dissolves . before feeding ensure that formula is at the correct temperature by placing a few drops on the wrist. Use immediately after reconstitution
Formula remaining in the bottle after one hour of feeding should discarded. formula must not be rewarmed during feeding.
One level scoop provides approximately 4.7g. Add one level Scoop of powder to every fluid ounce (30ml) of water to yield the recommended feed concertation (14.1 W/V).
Caution & Warnings:
Do not boil formula and do not use microwave oven to prepare or warm formula
Warming and incorrect preparation can limit the benefit of the Bifidobacterium breve M-16V.
