Therapeutic Indications Of Moxal Chewable Tablets
Acid reflux, which can include regurgitation, bitter taste, persistent dry cough, pain when lying down, and trouble swallowing
Heartburn, which is a burning sensation in your chest or throat caused by acid reflux
Indigestion, which is a pain in your upper gut that can feel like gas or bloating
Peptic ulcer, which is a sore on the lining of your stomach, small intestine, or esophagus
Method Of Administration Of Moxal Chewable Tablets
Dosage is based on your condition
In most conditions, to be taken after meals & before sleep
Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
Undesirable Side Effects Of Moxal Chewable Tablets
Diarrhea or constipation.
Flatulence (wind)
Stomach cramps.
Feeling sick or vomiting.
Tiredness or weakness
Nausea
Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking Moxal Chewable Tablets
Do not take it if:
You are allergic to any of the ingredients
You have severe stomach problems
You have an intolerance to some sugars
Use with caution if:
You have heart, kidney or liver problems
You have diabetes
You need a laxative dose every day, or you have persistent abdominal pain, or if symptoms persist
You are elderly or feel very weak
You are on a controlled sodium diet
You are pregnant or breastfeeding
It may interact with the following drugs and products:
Anticoagulants (eg, warfarin) because the risk of their side effects may be increased
Azole antifungals (eg, ketoconazole), bisphosphonates (eg, alendronate), cation exchange
Resins (eg, sodium polystyrene sulfonate), cephalosporins (eg, cephalexin), mycophenolate,
Penicillamine, quinolone antibiotics (eg, ciprofloxacin), or tetracyclines (eg, doxycycline)
Because their effectiveness may be decreased.
Storage Conditions Of Moxal Chewable Tablets
Store below 25°c
Don’t refrigerate
For your safety, discard any medicine remaining 6 months after opening the bottle.
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
