Miconaz cream is used as an anti-fungal and for various skin infections. It contains the active ingredient miconazole. Miconaz acts as an antifungal by inhibiting the manufacture of ergosterol, the main component of the cell membrane, which stunts its growth.
Warnings:
- It is prohibited in cases of allergy to any of the drug components
- Do not use Miconaz in the eyes.
- It is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation
