Therapeutic Indications Of MEIACT tablets Cefditoren Pivoxil is a semi-synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic for oral administration. It is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate infections in adults and adolescents (12 years of age or older) which are caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the conditions listed below: Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis Uncomplicated Skin and Skin-Structure Infections Method Of Administration Of MEIACT tablets Take Cefditoren Pivoxil with meals. This will help to make the treatment more effective. In case of bronchitis take Cefditoren Pivoxil 400 mg twice daily for 10 days For other infections, take Cefditoren Pivoxil 200 mg twice daily for 10 days Patients with kidney problems If you have a kidney problem, your doctor may change your dose. Undesirable Side Effects Of MEIACT tablets Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop urticaria, rash, tightness of the chest, wheezing, hypotension Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking MEIACT tablets Inform your doctor if you have renal impairment, history of colitis Inform your doctor if you have diarrhea while taking this medicine Inform your doctor if you are taking anticoagulant treatment or Warfarin in order to monitor your prothrombin time Storage Conditions Of MEIACT tablets Store below 25°c Don’t refrigerate Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
