Therapeutic Indications Of MEIACT tablets Cefditoren Pivoxil is a semi-synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic for oral administration. It is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate infections in adults and adolescents (12 years of age or older) which are caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the conditions listed below: Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis Uncomplicated Skin and Skin-Structure Infections Method Of Administration Of MEIACT tablets Take Cefditoren Pivoxil with meals. This will help to make the treatment more effective. In case of bronchitis take Cefditoren Pivoxil 400 mg twice daily for 10 days For other infections, take Cefditoren Pivoxil 200 mg twice daily for 10 days Patients with kidney problems If you have a kidney problem, your doctor may change your dose.
