Laxatrol™ tablets are a combination stool softener and stimulant laxative designed to provide effective relief from constipation. The formula works by softening stools and increasing their water content, making them easier to pass.

How to Use:

Adults: Take 2 to 4 tablets daily, either in divided doses or as a single dose, preferably in the evening.
Children:Ages 2–6: Up to 1 tablet daily.
Ages 6–12: 1 to 2 tablets daily.

Possible Side Effects:

Common side effects may include stomach or abdominal pain, cramping, nausea, diarrhea, or weakness.
A harmless side effect is reddish-brown discoloration of urine, which resolves after discontinuing the medication.
Overdose symptoms may include severe abdominal pain, persistent nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Seek medical attention if these occur.

Missed Dose:

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.

Long-Term Use:

Docusate-senna is not recommended for treating chronic constipation beyond one week unless directed by a healthcare professional.
