Therapeutic Indications Of Klavox 375 Mg Tablets Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid is used in adults and children to treat the following infections: the middle ear and sinus infections Respiratory tract infections Urinary tract infections Skin and soft tissue infections including dental infections Bone and joint infections Method Of Administration Of Klavox 375 Mg Tablets Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Take with you a meal. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. Space the doses evenly during the day, at least 4 hours apart. Do not take 2 doses in 1 hour. Do not take Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid for more than 2 weeks. Children aged 6 years or less should preferably be treated with Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid oral suspension or sachets. The tablets are not suitable for children weighing less than 25 kg For adults and children weighing 40 kg and over The usual dose is 1 tablet every 8 hours or 1 tablet every 12 hours, depending on the severity and type of infection. Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose. Undesirable Side Effects Of Klavox 375 Mg Tablets Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from: Allergic reactions, the signs may include: skin itching or rash, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, body, or breathing difficulties Nausea Diarrhea Other severe skin reactions can include: changes in skin color, bumps under the skin, blistering, pustules, peeling, redness, pain, itching, and scaling. Flu-like symptoms with a rash, fever, swollen glands, and abnormal blood test results. Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking Klavox 375 Mg Tablets Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid if you: Have glandular fever Are being treated for liver or kidney problems Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medications including over-the-counter non-prescription medicines, prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and supplements. Storage Conditions Of Klavox 375 Mg Tablets Store below 25°c Don’t refrigerate Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Store in the original package to protect from moisture. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
