Therapeutic Indications Of Klacid XL 500 Mg Tablets It is used in the following infections: Throat infections (pharyngitis/tonsillitis) Respiratory tract infections: sinus infections, bronchitis, and pneumonia Uncomplicated skin infections Mycobacterial infections Pylori infection (along with other medicines) Middle ear infections in children (otitis media) Method Of Administration Of Klacid XL 500 Mg Tablets Take this medicine as indicated by your doctor The dosing may depend on the site and severity of your infection. The usual dosing is 500 mg every 12 hours. In children, the dosing is calculated based on the child’s body weight in mg/kg/day. The usual dose is 15-20 mg/kg/day. Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
