Product Description:

• Isoptin is a calcium blocker that lowers blood pressure and eases the heart's work by reducing the heart's pumping power and widening the blood vessels so that the resistance in the body's blood vessels is reduced.
• This improves the oxygen supply to the heart muscle. Isoptin also has a regulatory effect on the heart's rhythm.
• Isoptin is used against various forms of heart spasms ( angina pectoris ), high blood pressure ( hypertension ), attacks with a rapid pulse and atrial fibrillation where you want to dampen or calm the heart quickly.

How To Use:

• The dose is determined by the doctor who adjusts it for you. 
• Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Contact a doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

If you take too much Isoptin:

• Contact a doctor, hospital or Poison Information if you have taken too much medicine or if a child has taken medicine by accident. 
• For other questions about the medicine, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

If you have forgotten to take Isoptin:

• You must not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

If you stop treatment with Isoptin:

• Consult your doctor if it is appropriate to interrupt the treatment.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions about the use of this medicine.

Warnings And Precautions:

• Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Isoptin.
• Use caution when using Isoptin
• If an acute heart attack with complications should occur.
• If you suffer from low blood pressure , low heart rate, palpitations and other heart rhythm disturbances , impaired left ventricular function, heart failure, severe impaired liver function or impaired kidney function.
• If you suffer from any form of disease that causes weakness or fatigue in the muscles ( myasthenia gravis , Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome (LEMS) and Duchenne muscular dystrophy ( DMD )).

Ingredients:

• The active substance is verapamil hydrochloride 40 mg, 80 mg or 120 mg.
