Therapeutic Indications Of GYNO-MIKOZAL Cream This medication is used to treat vaginal yeast infections. Miconazole reduces vaginal burning, itching, and discharge that may occur with this condition. This medication is an azole antifungal. It works by stopping the growth of yeast (fungus) that causes the infection. Method Of Administration Of GYNO-MIKOZAL Cream Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose. Undesirable Side Effects Of GYNO-MIKOZAL Cream Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from: Headache, vaginal/urethral burning/itching/pain, or lower abdominal cramps may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking GYNO-MIKOZAL Cream Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it, or to other azole antifungal agents (such as terconazole, and fluconazole); or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details. If you have any of the following health problems, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication: diabetes, immune system problems (such as HIV-AIDS), frequent vaginal yeast infections (more than 3 in 6 months or 4 in 1 year). Before having surgery, tell your doctor or dentist about all the products you use (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products). Storage Conditions Of GYNO-MIKOZAL Cream Store below 25°c Don’t refrigerate Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Store in the original package to protect from moisture. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
