Product Description:

• Fluvoxamine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI).

Uses:

•  treat symptoms of obsessive compulsive disorder  in adults and children at least 8 years old.
• used as antidepressant.

Precautions and warnings:

• Do not stop using fluvoxamine without first asking your doctor.
• Individuals who are depressed or suffer from mental health issues may consider suicide.
• When taking depression medication for the first time, some young people may have heightened suicide thoughts and feelings. Notify your physician at away if you have any abrupt changes in your behavior or mood, or if you have suicidal thoughts.
• Fluvoxamine should never be stopped without first seeing your doctor.
• You should not take fluvoxamine if you are allergic to it. 

  Tell your doctor if you experienced:

• bipolar disorder. 
• a seizure.
• glaucoma.
• sexual problems.
• liver or kidney disease.
• heart disease.
• a stroke.
• bleeding problems.
• low levels of sodium in your blood .

Side effects:

How to Use:

• Read any drug guides or instruction sheets and abide by all guidelines on the label of your medicine. Occasionally, your doctor may alter your dosage.
• Adhere to the medication's directions exactly.
• Take fluvoxamine with or without meals just before bed.
• Do not break, chew, crush, or open the capsule—instead, swallow it whole.
• If you notice any changes in your sexual function, such as a decrease in your desire for sex, difficulty experiencing an orgasm, or (for males) difficulties getting an erection or ejaculating, let your doctor know. Treatments exist for certain sexual issues.
• Avoid stopping fluvoxamine quickly to avoid unpleasant side effects, which include agitation, disorientation, tingling, or sensations of electric shock. Consult your physician before quitting your medication.
• Keep firmly closed, out of the heat and moisture, and at room temperature.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date. which is stated on the box.
