Product description:

• proton pump inhibitor used to decrease stomach acid.

Uses:

• Treatment for peptic ulcer disease and bleeding ulcer as it decrease rebleeding after endoscopy for acute bleeding stomach or duodenal ulcers in adults.
• Treatment for Gastroesophageal reflux diseae.
• Healing of erosive esophagitis as short term treatment from 4 to 8 weeks .
• H.pylori eradication as a part of multi drug regimen.
• Prevention of gastric ulcers associated with continous NSAID therapy.
• Long term treatment for hypersecretory diseases as in Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
• Frequent heartburn treatment . 
• Esomeprazole related to decrase the risk of adenocarcinoma .

Precautions and Warnings :

• Esomeprazle Increase incidence of osteoporosis on long term therapy or high dose.
• Esomeprazole increase risk of clostridium difficle associated diarrhea.
• Increase risk of gastro intistinal infection.
• Acute nephritis observed in patients on long term therapy with PPIS.
• proton pump inhibitors diminish the effect of clopidogrel.

Side effects :

• may cause headache,dizzines,vertigo,irritability,flatulance and drowsiness .
• may cause diarrhea,flatulance,constipation and abdominal pain .
• may cause cough.

How to use:
