Product Description: Dermofix cream 2% is an azole antifungal indicated for the topical treatment of interdigital tinea pedis in immunocompetent patients 12 years of age and older, caused by: Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, and Epidermophyton floccosum. (1) Dermofix® (sertaconazole nitrate) cream, 2%, is indicated for the topical treatment of interdigital tinea pedis in immunocompetent patients 12 years of age and older, caused by: Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, and Epidermophyton floccosum [see Clinical Studies (14) ]. Sertaconazole (Ertaczo, Dermofix, Konzert, Zalain) is an antifungal medication of the imidazole class. It is available as a cream to treat skin infections such as athlete’s foot.
