Product Description:

• Befolvit 1 mg is used to treat or prevent low folate levels which can lead to certain types of anemia.

Uses:

• It is used to treat or prevent folate deficiency because:
  • Low folate levels can result in certain kinds of anemia.
  • Low folate levels can be caused by a variety of conditions, including poor diet, pregnancy, alcoholism, liver illness, certain stomach/intestinal issues, and kidney dialysis.

Precautions and warnings:

• If you are allergic to any of the components of this medication.
• If you currently have or have had a peptic ulcer.
• If you have hepatic illness.
• If you have renal impairment.
• If you have any heart disease.
• If you have bronchial asthma.

Side effects:

• Upset stomach.
• Nausea.
• Allergic reaction.
