Product Description:

• Azarga Eye Drop is a prescription treatment that contains a mixture of medications used to treat eye pressure (ocular hypertension) and glaucoma.
• It works by decreasing the pressure of fluid in the eye (aqueous humor), hence lowering high eye pressure.

Uses:

• Azarga is used to lower intraocular pressure (IOP, or pressure inside the eye).
• It is used in individuals with open-angle glaucoma (a disorder in which the pressure in the eye rises due to a blockage in the drainage system) or ocular hypertension.

Precautions and warnings:

• AZARGA is not suggested for children and teenagers under the age of 18.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are currently using, have recently used, or plan to use any additional medications.
• AZARGA may interact with or be affected by other medications you are taking, especially glaucoma eye drops.

Side effects:

• Eye irritation.
• Blurred vision.
• Eye pain
• Feeling of something in the eye
• Shortness of breath
• Changes to the eyelid
• Decreased blood pressure 
• Dizziness
• Irritation

Ingredients and Concentration:

• One milliliter of suspension includes 10 milligrams of brinzolamide and 5 mg of timolol (as maleate).

Pharmacological classification:

• This drug is a mixture of brinzolamide and timolol.

• Brinzolamide belongs to the class of drugs known as carbonic anhydrase inhibitors.

• Timolol is a beta-blocker.

Volume:

• 5 ml.

How to Use:

• The recommended dosage is one drop of AZARGA in the conjunctival sac of the afflicted eye(s) twice day.
• Nasolacrimal occlusion or shutting the eyelids reduces systemic absorption.
• This may lead to a reduction in systemic adverse effects and an increase in local activity

Storage Conditions:

• Do not freeze.
• Keep this medication out of the sight and reach of children.
• To avoid moisture, store in the original packaging.
• Do not use this drug after the expiration date listed on the box/blisters/label.
