• Avalon Avoral Shampoo is approved for the treatment of systemic fungal diseases in individuals who have failed or are resistant to conventional therapies.

Uses:

• Avalon is approved for the treatment of the following systemic fungal diseases in individuals who have failed or are resistant to conventional therapies:
  • blastomycosis.
  • coccidioidomycosis.
  • histoplasmosis.
  • chromomycosis.
  • and paracoccidioidomycosis.

Precautions and warnings:

• Call your doctor right away if you get a rash, itching, difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, or swelling of your hands, face, or lips while taking this medication.
• Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication.
• Do not take any additional medications until you have discussed them with your doctor.

Side effects:

• Dizziness.
• Headache.
• Rash.
• Hives. 
• Nausea and vomiting.
• Breast swelling.
• Dry skin.
• Fast heartbeat. 
• Hair loss.

• Ketoconazole.

• 2% Ketoconazole.

How to Use:

• Gently apply the cream to the affected region and the surrounding skin.
• Depending on the size of the area to be treated, you will normally only need a tiny amount. Be careful not to get the cream in your eyes or mouth.
• If it gets in your eyes or mouth, rinse them with water.
