Product Description:

• Apicarpin 2% 10 ml Eye Drops contains pilocarpine that Lowers the high pressure inside the eye.

Uses:

• Lowering high pressure inside the eye that happens due to glaucoma or hypertension.
• It helps to prevent:
  • Blindness.
  • Vision loss.
  • Nerve damage.
• It is used during certain eye surgeries.
• It reverses the effects of drugs used to enlarge the pupil (such as during an eye exam).
• Pilocarpine works by causing the pupil of the eye to shrink and decreasing the amount of fluid within the eye.

Precautions and warnings:

• If you are allergic to Pilocarpine or to any other preservative such as benzalkonium chloride.
• This medicine is taking under medical supervision if you are:
  • pregnant.
  • Breastfeeding.
  • Think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby.

Side effects:

• Temporary irritation.
• Burning.
• Stinging of the eye.
• Temporary blurred vision.
• Poor vision in dim light.
• Headache.
• Brow ache may occur. 

Ingredients:

• Pilocarpine HCl.

Concentration:

• 2% of Pilocarpine HCl.

Pharmacological classification:

• Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors.

Volume:

• 10 ml.

How to Use:

• Tilt your head back
• Look upward.
• Pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch.
• Hold the dropper directly over your eye and place one drop into the pouch.
• Let go of the eyelid and gently close your eyes.
• Place one finger at the corner of your eye (near the nose) and apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes.

Storage Conditions:

• Keep this product out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not use this product after the expiry date.
