It is used for temporary relief of redness of the eye due to minor eye irritations and eases allergy signs.
It is used to treat allergic conjunctivitis.
Method Of Administration Of Mydfrin Eye Drops
Eye preparation is usually sterile, so ensure that the container is not damaged before use and also replace the cap after taking your dose (In case of using a single-use dose unit, throw the used unit away after using them)
Tilt your head back a little and lookup.
pull your lower eyelid down
With the other hand, hold the eye drop bottle upside down near your eye. Try not to touch your eye as you do this.
Apply enough pressure to release one drop (or vial contents) into your eye.
Ensure that the medication entered your eye
Close your eye for a minute or two, and press gently on the side of your nose, this prevents the loss of your eye drops and keeps the drug where it should be.
The recommended dose is 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed or as directed by the physician
Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure about how to use this medication
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from:
Transient irritation
Stinging may occur
Dilated pupils

Before you use this medicine talk to your doctor or pharmacist:
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
If you experience changes in your vision or eye pain
If you experience eye irritation or redness that is getting worse or that persists for more than 72 hours.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medications including over-the-counter non-prescription medicines, prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and supplements.
Storage Conditions Of Mydfrin Eye Drops
Store below 25°c
Don’t refrigerate the unopened container
Not to be used for more than 28 days after opening the container, unless otherwise advised by your pharmacist.
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
